Please Note: The 2004-05 NATSIHS CURF was re-issued on 21 April 2010, and replaces the CURF issued on 16 August 2006.

The 2004-05 NATSIHS data is now available via two Expanded Confidentialised Unit Record Files (CURFs):

• a State/Territory CURF; and
• a State/Territory by ASGC Remoteness Structure CURF.

Please refer to the Explanatory Notes tab of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey: Expanded Confidentialised Unit Record File, Technical Manual, 2004-05 (cat. no. 4715.0.55.002) on the ABS website for more details regarding the changes.

The Expanded CURFs from the 2004-05 NATSIHS contain Indigenous data from the 2004-05 NATSIHS and non-Indigenous data from the 2004-05 National Health Survey (NHS).

The CURFs are only available through the Remote Access Data Laboratory (RADL) to clients who have signed an undertaking stating that the information will be used for statistical purposes only and agreeing to the terms of use. The undertaking and explanatory information are available from the ABS website (see Services>CURF Microdata).
