MIGRANT DATA MATRICES

Released late last year, the Migrant Data Matrices (cat. no 3415.0) provide an easier and quicker method of finding ABS migrant and ethnicity related data. Migrant related data items from a range of ABS collections are shown in a series of matrices with direct links to datacubes. Links to the main features of relevant products are also provided as well as detailed background information listed in the Guide to Migrant Statistical Sources (cat. no. 3414.0).

The Migrant Data Matrices bring these ABS data collections together in one place and enable them to be sorted alphabetically by title or by topic. Topics cover nine themes from the ABS framework:

  • Crime and Justice
  • Culture and Leisure
  • Education and Training
  • Family and Community
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Labour (including employment)
  • Personal and Household Finances
  • Population Characteristics

Initially containing 18 data series, more collections will be added to this product in future releases.
