User IDs and passwords
Do you have trouble remembering your user IDs and passwords and which system they belong to? How many should you have?
There are a number of microdata systems that require user IDs and passwords for access. To help keep track of what you need, see the list below and don't forget to keep both your user ID and password safe and secure and remember that they must not be shared with others!
|MiCRO - the ABS online CURF application system||Usually the first 4 letters of surname and first 2 letters of given name, although users can choose their own user ID. Do not use email addresses as your user ID as this causes problems within the system.||Set by user. If you forget your password, ring 02 6252 7714 to have it reset. The system will generate a new one which you must then change. Password must contain:
- at least 8 characters
- be alpha and numeric
- contain upper and lower case characters
- no duplication
- no special characters
- do not use your own name or birth date or anything that would easily identify you.
|RADL - Remote Access Data Laboratory||System generated and cannot be changed - usually the first 4 letters of surname and first 2 letters of given name.||System generated and cannot be changed. If you forget your password, ring 6252 7714 and verify your identity to obtain your password.|
|Survey TableBuilder||Usually consistent with your MiCRO user ID.||System generated. If you forget your password, ring 02 6252 7714 and verify your identity to obtain your password or have it reset. |
