SUBDIVISION 53 - WAREHOUSING AND STORAGE SERVICES

In the 2010-11 financial year the Warehousing and Storage Services industry subdivision generated $6.9b of Total income. Total income from transport services accounted for 62.5% ($4.3b) of Total income. Of this $4.3b, Warehousing and storage services contributed 48.6% ($2.1b) with Grain storage services accounting for 20.0% ($0.9b).

Over the course of the 2010-11 financial year the Warehousing and Storage Services industry subdivision incurred $5.9b of Total expenses. The main expense items were Other expenses accounting for 33.7% ($2.0b) of Total expenses, Purchases 24.9% ($1.5b), Labour costs 24.2% ($1.4b) and Total transport related expenses accounting for 17.2% ($1.0b) of Total expenses.
