In 2006-07, the gross value of agricultural production for the Northern Territory was $343.0 million, an increase of 12% on 2005-06. Crop production contributed $99.4 million or 29% of the total value of agricultural production, while livestock slaughterings and disposals were valued at $242.7 million (71%) and livestock products were valued at $900,000.
