The following microdata products are currently available from the Australian Health Survey: National Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey 2011-12:
- TableBuilder
- Basic CURF
- Expanded CURF

Apply online for access to the TableBuilder at http://www.abs.gov.au/registration.
Apply for access to the CURFs in MiCRO.

These products provide data from the National Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey 2011-12 component of the Australian Health Survey 2011-12. The focus of the TableBuilder file is on the physical activity data.

The focus of the Basic CURF is on nutrition, including detailed dietary intake. Data item topics include demographic information, physical activity, sedentary behaviour, selected health conditions, health risk factors and nutrition.

The Expanded CURF contains all elements of the NNPAS including detailed physical activity and nutrition data. In addition, the Expanded CURF includes biomedical data for NNPAS respondents who agreed to participate.

Detailed lists of data items for both the TableBuilder file, Basic CURF and Expanded CURF are available on the Downloads tab. Users should examine the data item lists prior to purchasing a product to ensure the data they require is available.

Approved users can combine information about Australians aged two years and over to enable in-depth studies of the physical activity and dietary behaviours of the population and associated risk factors.
